DESIGN AND ENGINEERING EST 200 is a KTU general course. The objective of this course is to give an introduction to the basic principles of engineering design, inform them about the steps involved in the design process and Familiarize them with the basic tools and design techniques to be used. Students are expected to learn and apply design thinking during engineering training, which is very important and relevant today.
Case studies from different practical contexts can help students understand that design is not only about functionality, but also about various life cycle issues with multiple factors such as customer, economy and reliability. You can learn KTU subjects through our excellent study materials comprising of Notes, Presentations and Previous Years Question papers which are easily available on our website (www.keralanotes.com).
