KTU S3/S4 CSE MCN201 Sustainable Engineering [ SE ] is a general course. Here the notes study materials and curriculum for the course are given. This KTU 2019 scheme course presents an introduction to Sustainable engineering. Sustainable engineering refers to methods that are designed to balance social, economic, and environmental developments; as well as reduce the use of non-renewable resources. Our method, which uses thermal sludge to restore the pH of fractured wells and employs corn cobs instead of gravel in the construction of permeable pavements, illustrates our commitment to sustainable engineering.
This is a set of notes for MCN201 Sustainable Engineering. The objective of this KTU course is to inculcate in students an awareness of environmental issues and global initiatives toward attaining sustainability. The student should realize the potential of technology in bringing in sustainable practices.
